Haven't spent lots of time there, but each time I was there, my experiences with people were quite good, and the state is naturally beautiful, so FS.

Absolute freedom state for newbies, senior people and seasoned people. You can almost do anything here, camp, fish, hunt, mountain climb, cycling, ski/snowboard. The only thing you can't do is surf or own a yacht.

I think without the snow, it would be perfect. After living here for almost 25 years, I'm looking for change.

Beautiful, but politically awful (contains both the worst type of liberal and the worst type of conservative)

Beautiful, but politically awful (contains both the worst type of liberal and the worst type of conservative)

Most Coloradans are fairly moderate overall, though the number of "polarized" liberals and conservatives has grown with the explosion in population growth of the Front Range (lots of transplants added into the native population growth).

Neutral.  Lean HS as of late because of its swing toward Democrats.

The Eastern third of the state (West Kansas) is an absolute armpit. The rest of the state is great. One day after I trip and fall over a enormous pile of money, I want to summer in Estes Park!

I voted FS before the election, now it's neutral to lean HS cause of it trending Democrat unfortunately. California transplants.

There is a reason the University of Colorado wanted to move into the Pac-12

Yeah, I totally agree with you. It's probably one of the most appealing states in the country (other than the part that's in the plains). The scenery really is amazing in the mountains.
