More useful for talented blue-state Pubs to focus on state offices rather than Senate seats that are very difficult to hold long-term, IMO. Hopefully he runs and wins.

I personally am hoping that Dan Rutherford will run for Governor in Illinois in 2014, and I would love to see Quinn run again and win the primary so Rutherford can kick his butt in the general.  Republicans would've won the 2010 race if it weren't for the ideological purity trolls in the Tea Party movement and elsewhere.

The second picture doesn't say that much, but he's totally flaming in that first picture. I can't imagine any straight man wearing clothes like that. I think it's pretty obvious that he's a total closet-case. I couldn't care less myself, but the GOP base isn't exactly as tolerant as I am.
