Glad, and time to get behind Obama again and try to get something done the next four years, as unlikely as it is.

Oh, and officially open the 2014 midterms and 2016 Presidential campaigns.

Considering it will probably be in the wee hours of the morning before it is called, I will just sigh and then head off the bed (I have work the next morning).  If they call it before midnight, then I will probably go out for a drink at a bar near where I live, but I doubt that will happen.

I will probably cry.

I try to downplay it as much as I can on this board because I really don't want to be called a hack or a troll... but I'd say my support for Romney is up there with Winfield's. Mitt Romney is a good man who has wanted this job for a long time. He's so suited for it and he could really help a lot of people. On a personal level, I will be very sad for him on Tuesday.

Relief. Not profoundly unexpected and dramatic relief, but relief nonetheless.

My opinion of Mitt Romney might improve in the following days, since I have a history of liking him better (or disliking him less) when he's not in or running for office.

I'd probably take to gloating at some point, though I promise I will try my level best to keep it to a minimum.

Just like in 2008, I'll get this nauseating feeling all over my body, and sit down on something. I'll be in complete shock, and eventually get depressed, and go to sleep.

I try to take the high road. I predict Obama will win, and Romney put up one hell of a fight. The worst part will be the gloating from the Democrats.

My concern is for the country. The capitalist and socialist viewpoints are often characterized by the "cow" analogy.

You have two cows. Capitalism is where you sell one of your cows and buy a bull. Socialism is where you are forced to give one of your two cows to your neighbor. Sadly, and terrifyingly, Americans, especially younger, more dependent Americans, are buying into the socialism attitude out of pure laziness. They figure, "Why not let the Government pay for stuff"? It's something called pride. If Americans lose their pride, what's left? I work and pay taxes. My tax dollars shouldn't go to those who have less simply because I have more. That isn't capitalism. Remember...during the Cold War we would have had a nuclear war before losing our Capitalistic society. We CANNOT lose Capitalism. Democrat or Republican, this is very, very important.

How hard-up is your neighbor? Ideally you should be willing to just give him some milk so he doesn't ing starve to death.

Yes, and that was an awful set of priorities because it seriously endangered the entire world.

Satisfied and a bit relieved, but not overly surprised.
