From 1976 to present without skips. My first vote cast on any ballot was for Ford. Tomorrow will be my 10th vote for POTUS.

Every one since 2000 -and of all the votes I ever cast, that was the only year I ever regretted the choice I made.

2004 mock at school: Kerry (Bush won)
2008 mock at school: Obama (Obama won)
2012 mock at school: Romney (Romney won)

If we're counting those, I voted for Carter in 1980 and Mondale in 1984.

As a registered voter, I've voted in all presidential elections since 1988.  Four Democrats, two Republicans, and one third-party candidate.

This is the first time since I've been posting on this forum that I supported the losing candidate.  It's a little strange.  All through 2004 I supported Bush and knew he'd win.  All through 2008 I supported Obama and knew he'd win.  All this year I supported Romney but never thought he'd win.  It's a different feeling posting in these boards when you're supporting the losing candidate.  And even then I underestimated his loss.  I think I gave Obama something like 285 in my prediction map.

I think I just might go third party from here on out.  Better investment strategy.  Stocks tanked Tuesday and Wednesday.  Weird, since nothing changed.  Same groups will control Senate, House, and executive.  I wouldn't have predicted the crash.  Maybe it's that whole financial cliff thing that they're worried about.  I think that if I could divorce myself completely from the Republicans and Democrats, I'd be a better neutral observer.

Four mock elections, two in the same year. In total...

2004 4th Grade Mock Presidential Election
George W. Bush (Republican)

2004 Boy Scout Mock Presidential Election
Ralph Nader (Independent)

2008 (Middle?) School Mock Presidential Election
John McCain (Republican)

2010 High School Mock Gubernatorial Election
Rick Snyder (Republican)

2010 High School Mock Michigan 9th Congressional District Election
Andrew Raczkowski (Republican)

2012 High School Class Survey
Write-in: Gary Johnson (Libertarian)

I wasn't at school on Tuesday to participate in the mock election, though I either would've persisted in writing in Gary Johnson, or voted for Romney. Too bad apparently the Johnson votes weren't counted, according to what I heard about the announcement of results. Even the Hitler vote was counted, but no the Johnson ones!

I voted for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. I was 17 in 2004, so I was not able to vote for John Kerry that year. Obviously, I also would have supported Al Gore in 2000, which happens to be the election that inspired my interest in politics.

Six, from 1988 to 2008, and I skipped this year.
