I'm not lousy at Maths, that's why I'm doing Economics, which involves a lot of Applied maths classes! I did quite well in my GCSE Science (the qualifications you gain at 16 in the UK), I got A*A*A in the 3 branches and an A in Maths.
Anyway, my plan would be arts degree's for those not good at science. In the UK we've got a huge shortfall of qualified people in scientific fields, though the UK's trebling of Tuition fee's saw applications rise by 11% for Sciences, Maths and Engineering, which will go some way but not enough towards plugging the gap. I want the UK to have enough science graduates to never ever need to import any, basically.
