No idea if this is news to y'all or not. While setting up my precinct today, I noticed that the two major party candidates were listed, as well as Goode, Anderson, and Stein (though Goode was down as the U.S. Taxpayer's part candidate, and Anderson was the Natural Law nominee). However, there was no Johnson. I later saw the list of write-in candidates that were eligible in this state--four total--and there was Johnson's name. I had heard that there were schemes to make sure Johnson didn't qualify, but this is confirmation that the ominous "they" were able to keep him off the ballot.

Do you ever think about taking a few minutes to look for real information before posting such responses?

In this case, Michigan's Secretary of State -- a Republican -- kept Johnson off the ballot.

this ballot access sh**t has pissed me off all season. Just let the guy on the ballot, he's clearly made all the real requirements, being third party is hard enough without some clown adding a bunch of extra hoola hoops of fire to hop through.

Michigan and Oklahoma are the only two states where Johnson didn't make the ballot.

What happened with getting someone with the same name on the ballot as the Libertarian candidate?
