Yes I made one.

Hopefully it isn't too atrocious. I need to test it on somebody other than myself, so if people with some clue on British politics could please take it and give me feedback on their results I would appreciate it.

Are the polic officers you ask about anything like police officers?
Anyhow, the selector shows a real bias towards the Greens unless the UK Greens are totally unlike US Greens.

Sorry, Peter, but any test that gives me the BNP above the Conservative Party does not have my personal approval. Wink + Tongue

I'll modify the questions tomorrow to fix this problem. I might need some new questions to differentiate the two parties. Also, the responses for the SNP and PC aren't right at the moment, so that needs to be fixed as well.

Woah, I can see UKIP, but the BNP?!

#1 Conservative
#2 BNP
#3 UKIP
#4 Respect

And Respect are in fourth place. Surprise

I find some of those questions a bit misleading to be honest. For instance, "Do you find the present level of taxation too high?" is a question I find difficult to answer since it's far too generalised. For middle income groups I think it's too high but for high earners (ie. above 100.000 p/a) it's too low in my view. Either that or I'm just an awkward bastard. In any case, my resuls are...

#1   Liberal Democrat
#2   Green
#3   Labour
#4   Respect
#5   SNP
#6   Plaid Cymru
#7   BNP
#8   UKIP
#9   Conservative

Quelle surprise. Still, a bit weird to see the Tories below UKIP and the BNP...

1. BNP
2. Conservative
3. UKIP
4. Labo(u)r
5. Plaid Cymru
6.  SNP
7. Green
8. Liberal Democrat
9. Respect

Sorry, bub, but I don't have much more in common with the BNP as I do with the Greens.

here's how i'd probably rank myself (give or take, not counting local nationalist parties or Respect who i've never heard of)
1. Conservative
2. UKIP
3. Labor
4. Liberal Democrat
5. BNP
6. Green

Question six is badly worded since what people want instead of quotas can be very different.
I want all restrictions on immigration abolished...others want all immigration abolished.

Anyways, a UKpolitics selector that doesn't tell me I'm a raving secessionist...interesting...good.

7 BNP

Revert BNP and Con and that's what I might be ranking myself.

I apologise to all the people this test is (presumably) unfairly labelling as BNP supporters.

I'm probably going to split the immigration question into two to give a bit more contrast. I was actually going to include a New Deal question, but I forgot about it. I'll probably split the tax question as well since it is rather broad.
