I wasn't comfortable with either of the two black presidents I've had in my life time, but if a black politician were to agree with me on the issues then I would be very comfortable with him/her.

The individual's race really has no bearing on the level of confort I have with that person being the leader of the free world. The policies that person puts forth means a lot more to me.

Not with the one we have now; I like Harold Ford a great deal and would be comfortable with him, even though he's a hardcore moderate. I can't really think of any other mainstream black politicians I'd be comfortable with.
