I think Mitt Romney, should run again in 2016, he owes it to the country and to himself to give it another shot: it should be noted, his common sense approach to addressing the economic problems which confront the U.S. while not perfect, are based on old fashioned and logical concepts, however Barack Obama told folks there was "free stuff" and almost everybody got on the Obama bandwagon, not realizing there's no such thing as a free lunch. But nobody believes that anymore, so Mitt Romney and Ted Cruz in 2016!

Mitt is done.

You could tell how relieved he was during and after his concession speech.

Mitt lost because he is a Mormon. He couldn't get out the evangelical vote.

Mitt should not run again.

Kinda makes you wonder why Huntsman would want to run again in 2016?

Huntsman just wants the Senate seat when Hatch croaks.

I agree, Evangelicals will never turnout for a Mormon the way they turnedout for Bush.  THey were the difference with Bush winning and Romney losing.

The minute I saw, in CNN exit polls, the percentage of evangelical vote in Virginia, I knew the election was over.

26% in 2012 were white evangelical, same as 2008. And Romney got 78%, McCain only got 74%.

Romney is a RINO, much like McCain.  Both good guys, I like them, but they're not comforatble running the country.

He won't. Instead he'll be making country music by then.

Romney has no political core; the GOP needs a new movement leader.

Almost as funny as the forum's insistence that Jon Huntsman would have made a good general election candidate.

There is absolutely no way that will happen. Chaffetz will likely take it - I also see Love ascending to the Governor's mansion in 2016 or 2020 when Herbert calls it quits.

Personally, I would love for Mitt to give it another go, but I know it's not very likely, and I would hate risking the embarrassment of him losing in the primary.

I pray to god that Love or Chaffetz make it nowhere near higher office. They're both crazy as mess.

Love and Chaffetz are great.

As for the original topic, Mitt Romney will not and should not run for any elected office ever again.

Chaffetz will definitely take Hatch's Senate seat, but I don't think Love will become Governor; there's better, more experienced candidates that would be able to win nomination. I'm thinking that one of the State Senators or a mayor will become the next Governor.

Huntsman has no chance though, yeah. Agreeing to become one of Obama's ambassadors killed his political career.
