Rasmussen seems to be a total outlier right now:

North Carolinians aren't particularly happy with any of their politicians though. Barack Obama's approval numbers have hit a new record low in the state, with only 40% of voters approving of him to 54% who disapprove.

Colorado and Ohio he is underwater in his approvals. He only won Colorado by 3% and Ohio by 1% so maybe not that surprising. He only won Colorado because Hispanics disliked Romney and he only won Ohio because of high black turnout in the age 45-64 age range(I think)especially black women.

What happened to him in Iowa and New Hampshire? He is underwater in those 2 states too in his approvals.

New York, CA, and NJ he is pretty low in his approvals for a blue state like those 3 states.. VA, GA, WI, MN, OR, MD, TX, AR, KY, LA and FL his approval are pretty much near his 2012 vote total % in those 10 states.

Why are Obama's approval ratings in Oregon better than the actual results in 2012?

Yeah, so much for the aparrent slight trend to the right that I thought was occuring in that state.

Trust me, we are not trending to the right, fortunately. Tongue

Probably an old poll  from a time in which President Obama had peak approval.

About where he was before the Obamacare website went bad. If he were running for re-election this year he would be in striking distance in Florida. We never saw such weak approvals as we might have expected during the Obamacare rollout at its inception.

Texas?

And surprised Florida is still positive, compared to the others who are no longer.

California, PPIC, 46-51 (likely voters)

It's 53-43 among residents. Who knows who will be voting in 2016 in California?

Awful! But before any Republican salivates about defeating the Democratic Senator from Alaska, who barely won against an incumbent with severe questions about his ethics in office:

Stating the obvious:

Rasmussen had Obama underwater, but close, consistently.  He has been running in a 6 point range, generally around 48%, and reasonably stable since January 1.

Gallup shows about an 8-13 point gap with declining numbers.

PPP, which isn't a tracking poll, looks remarkably like Gallup.

It is strange that the only place Obama is doing "well" is Rasmussen.

What a weird pattern!

Well in 50 polls, statistically it would be unusual if there weren't a couple of outliers.

Among adults:

43-50 disapprove

Among RV:
