Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin... I believe. Those polls typically apply only to Wisconsin. I have seen tweets about the Governor (awful) the Republican Senator (awful), and the chances of Hillary Clinton in the state (excellent).

Wisconsin is about D+3.

He wouldn't hit rock bottom with 25 approval and 71 disapproval until October of 2008, when the economy was blowing up.

...consistent with the President getting 47% or 48% of the vote in Arizona if he were up to running for a third term and were allowed to do so.

We may have some glaring outliers here in the four largest states in electoral votes .

Approve - disapprove -- not sure (Barack Obama approval)

CA 52-42-6
TX  50-45-5 (huh?Huh?)
Florida 49-48-3
New York 61-36-3

I wouldn't include the GWU polls tbh. The sample sizes for the individual states are too small to be meaningful.

He's including them because he likes most of the results (all but the CA result).

Because of regional differences, both California and Texas are tough to poll.

Really, I don't trust the Texas poll. One needs a sample size in the multiple thousands to get a good sample for Texas. The President may have had a string of incidents of good fortune... but that can end.

President Barack Obama (Louisiana)
--
Job Performance
President Barack Obama remains unpopular in Louisiana, but not as unpopular as Governor Jindal.  42.1% rate his job performance as positive and 57.3% negative. Only 22.6% of white voters give President Barack Obama a positive job rating. Twenty three percent appears to be the upper end of white support for democrats at the statewide level in Louisiana.

To get onboard with the GOP on trade was a bad idea, which Americans are opposed to.

Obama's approval ratings are really low. When the economy was booming under Clinton, his approval ratings were much higher. This dosen't seem to be the case with Obama.
