Obama's approval ratings are really low. When the economy was booming under Clinton, his approval ratings were much higher. This dosen't seem to be the case with Obama.

There's a difference between booming and recovering. (Also, obligatory "he's a black you see")

Obama just hit 50% approval in a Rasmussen poll, the first time since March 11th of this year.

Obama is now at his highest average approval rating on RCP since June of 2013.

...and this is extremely anti-Obama Rasmussen.

It looks as if the best way to win an election in most of America  after 2016 -- even in 2018 -- will be to be as much like Obama as possible.

Booker fits that bill.

Not even close. Too much baggage.
