I think it's a horrible state, but hey they've got good ski towns.

Before I ever thought of moving out here, I would have chosen horrible state on account of all the Mormons.  Now that I've lived here for 2 1/2 months, I have to say freedom state.  Its a beautiful state!

The scenery is spectacular! I especially like all the Red Rock stuff in the Southern part of the state. And outside of the Salt Lake City area, it's mostly wide open. Makes a great day of a road trip.

FS...

Nice place for road trips, camping, biking in Moab, hiking trips at Zion national park.   Great scenery for those into photography.

I really want to explore Southern Utah/Northern Arizona sometime very soon.  I may plan a weekend getaway next summer to Lake Powell around Page, AZ.

The only time I've been to Utah, it was at the shores of the Great Salt Lake.

There were dead birds inksing everywhere.

Horrible State.

I wouldn't want to live in a state originally founded as a religious haven.  I'm sure it's nice, but I don't see why I wouldn't just move east/west to CO/CA instead of staying in UT.

Mostly neutral, but a massive FS politically.

Horrible state. Colorado is exponentially more appealing without most of the negatives that Utah has. I can't say I find Mormonism or its strong Republicanism particularly appealing. Colorado, on the hand, is probably one the most appealing states to me.

I like it a lot. The Salt Lake Valley is one of the nicest places I've been to in the country.

Definitely a freedom state. Not everything has to be political.

I have a distant relative who spends his time between his home in Oakland, California, and a spot in Southwest Utah. Not sure why, might involve sports or scenery. I'll go with Freedom State.

'Never been there, so far be it from me to make a subjective judgement, but I like that they've been continually sending Jim Matheson to Congress!
