PPP, Alaska -- for its own sake.

Sean Parnell, Governor, R-AK

42% approve, 44% disapprove, 15% not sure.

Vulnerable.

1-3%       20% saturation
4-7%       40% saturation
8%-20%  60% saturation
over 20% 80% saturation

Behind, yellow the colors to green for Republicans  and orange for Democrats. Dark shades of orange are really brown.  Ties are yellow.

White is for a non-partisan Governor, independent Governor, no Governor, or any transition to a new one (death, resignation, disqualification, impeachment and removal, defeat, or not campaigning for re-election).

PPP, for "A Better Georgia"

Nathan Deal, R-GA

Approve 38%, disapprove 46%

https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.bettergeorgia.org/images/PPP-BetterGeorgia-052314.pdf

This may be a partisan poll, and it shows a likely tie in November. The approval rating for the incumbent Governor is awful, and a conservative trend in recent years in Georgia won't be enough to rescue him. He needs to be at 44% or higher approval now to have a good chance of winning.

Tom Corbett, Failure-PA

Approve 27-58 disapprove

About the only thing that Pennsylvanians agree with him on is his refusal to contest the ruling against same-sex marriage, in case anyone has any residual question.

Rick Scott, R-FL

Scott remains an unpopular Governor, although his approval ratings are not quite as bad as they have been at some times during his term. Only 39% of voters think he's doing a good job to 48% who disapprove, up from 33/55 in late September. Those are still numbers that would generally have you headed for defeat. But Crist has seen a precipitous decline in his image with voters in the state. Where they were closely divided on him last fall with 43% rating him favorably and 42% unfavorably, now just 32% of voters see him in a positive manner with his negatives spiking to 48%.

Apparently he is a perfect match for his state. If he were twenty years younger he would be a top-tier Presidential candidate.

Awful enough to be defeated in a re-election bid. Snyder got the edge in early advertising, and that advantage seems to be disappearing.

The thrill is gone for the Tea Party, big winners of the 2010 election, at least in Michigan:

Louisiana Miscellany

PPP's newest Louisiana poll continues to find that Bobby Jindal is among the least popular Governors in the country, and that there is minimal support for him running for President even in his home state. Only 32% of voters approve of the job Jindal is doing to 56% who disapprove. Among Republicans his numbers are relatively tepid (57/33 approval). His numbers with independents pretty closely mirror his overall ones (32/57), and support from Democrats is virtually nonexistent (12/75).

Field Poll, California -- and this is approval. 56-35 approval for Jerry Brown.

Sure, it's California, and the Republican opponent of him is very weak (businessman with no experience in elected office but connected to the George W. Bush administration). If Jerry Brown were 20 years younger he would be on  everyone's short list of "#45".

The most recent poll that I saw had him just slightly less approved than disapproved.

PPP: Incumbent Republican Governor Rick Snyder is 1 up on his Democratic challenger in a tight effort to win re-election.

Quote

Weak for an incumbent Republican who has no scandals. He has pushed some unpopular measures on behalf of the Koch brothers.

Snyder can lose to a strong GOTV campaign.
