Why has my perfectly reasonable (and reasonably perfect) question not been answered by the Honourable Senator? He says we can ask 'anything' and so I did. But he did not answer. HE IS A LIAR AND A PIG.

I have two questions

1) What is the problem with the current constitution

2) What is the difference of this amendment from the one that was not approved by all regions (the last try that failed)

Should we wait for ilikeverin (or is this in kal/redalgo's realm now?) to open a booth, or should someone open one up for the Midwest?

I still don't get what you are talking about. Tongue

Everything I do in the Senate has a reason behind it stated publically, including the reason I format my votes like that now. Primarily it is aimed at arousing attention, through shock value. Of course, I don't use that for any other purpose or in any other place not related to the purpose of treating my fellow Senators like garbage, hency my confusion. And I really doubt people will object to me brutalizing a few inactive louts, especially if it produces results. I cosnider it a service to the people, yes including "those people". Tongue

1) What is the problem with the current constitution

2) What is the difference of this amendment from the one that was not approved by all regions (the last try that failed)

1. Any Senator can initiate an impeachment process, on his own. Lets say Wormyguy decided he no like Homely and decided to impeach him. He actually did try to do this with Nappy with memory serves me. Uptake of that is then totally at the discretion of the Chief Justice. He can decide to take even that former scenario and commence a Senate trial or ignore all of them entirely including say Nix trying to impeach Morgieb for gross inactivity. By amending the Constitution, we can include a process that will require more than one potentially rogue Senator to get it moving nad then once moving and with the resulting legitimacy added with having that process, we ensure that it will in fact get taken up by the Chief Justice by strengthing the wording referencing that.

2. The previous one would have enshrined a specific committee into the constitution, at time whne said committee was new and all such committees are subject to change by Senate Resolution. This version doesn't speficially enshrine a named committee but instead gives a broader reference to the process.
