GOP polling debacle and the media

I know we've had a billion of these threads but why has no one in the media raised the idea that firms like Rasmussen were cooking the books and making up their entire polls. After all, it wasn't just PPP with generally the correct numbers, every public poll pretty much got this right with the exception of Florida (off only 1-2 points).
