At this stage I'd be surprised if he got traction at all.

Mike Pence (R-IN) was on Daily Rundown and when asked if he might run for prez in 2016 he said he was "committed to make sure that Indiana continues to grow" and then went on to tout all of his accomplishments in Indiana, when pressed he would not rule out a prez run

Well, we know he wants to be President. As the field continues to weaken, I wouldn't be surprised if he tested the waters sometime early in 2015 - the ballot deadline in Indiana for the primary is the second week of February I believe, so he would be tight on time.

John King said Pub fundraisers told him Jeb is starting to ask serious questions. They're from CA/TX and trying to keep Jeb's name floating while checking on Rubio.

Here's the transcript:

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1402/23/sotu.01.html

While Malloy ruled out running in 2016, both Nixon and Pence gave non-denial denials, in which they said "I'm focused on Missouri" and "I'm focused on Indiana" respectively.

I can see Patrick in 2020, or 2024; if there is a Democrat in the White House.

Malloy... hmm...

Rubio to Blitzer: Hillary would "struggle to win on multiple fronts", Jeb would be a "formidable candidate... my decision will be based on me, not what anybody else decides." Reiterated he'd decide later this year or early next year.

Jindal goes on Baier to continue on his RGA presser rant against Obama.

Jindal took big advantage of Christie's non-appearance at media events while the govs were in DC. As vice-chair of the RGA he is now the defacto public face of the RGA and whenever he was in front of a mic he was throwing red meat to the base to get some notice.
