6 Hillary themes. Though I have to LOL at "DC outsider" and "selfless ambition."

Cillizza ranks the Dem field. Suggests Warren might run if Hillary doesn't, which I disagree with. Also says that all public and private indications are that Hillary's running.

New Mexico Senator Martin Heinrich will run for President.  And given that Hillary will decline due to some unforeseen health problem (either with her husband or herself) and that no really "YEAH!" candidate exists, he will win the nomination and then go onto win another term in office for president.  His opponent will be New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.  The race will be extremely close and the results of the electoral map will surprise quite a few people.  Here's what I would project:

Martin Heinrich (D-NM)/Maggie Hassan (D-NH): 275 Electoral Votes 48.78% PV
Chris Christie (R-NJ)/Marco Rubio (R-FL) 263 Electoral votes 49.3% PV

I'm calling it.

I'm guessing as a Hillary surrogate. Her newfound alliance with the Clintons has always *interested* me, especially after her famous '08 remarks about Bubba.

Biden is helping the DCCC recruit candidates:

http://www.politico.com/story/2013/10/joe-biden-democratic-recruiter-98870.html?hp=t1

....which of course means that if the party does well next year, some may owe him a political debt.

This morning on ABC Howard Dean said if Hillary runs he would not challenge her in the primary and would in fact support her.

I wouldn't mind watching that, despite my strong dislike of both Dean and Santorum.

Another interview in which Schweitzer sounds open to a 2016 run:

But then in the same interview, he seems to throw cold water on the idea:

He also again asked the rhetorical question about whether nominating so many Bushes and Clintons meant that the USA was turning into a monarchy, but acknowledged that the nomination is Hillary Clinton's to lose if she runs.

He said that he opted out of next year's Senate race because Congress is a "do-nothing branch of government", and because he thinks he has the temperament of a CEO, not a legislator.

Finally, it looks like Schweitzer will be one of the rotating hosts of CNN's Crossfire, appearing on the show four times next month..

Kasich defends the social safety net in a way that suggests that he's no longer really thinking about a place on the GOP presidential ticket (presumably because his reelection is in such deep trouble):

Hillary reportedly said at St. Andrews last week "I haven't made up my mind", then after being pressed by an august companion "I'm inclined to do it."

Here's a story on how Klobuchar is seeking out a more visible role in the national spotlight, after having largely kept her head down in her first term:

Much of this stuff:

http://therun2016.com/cruz-paul-cant-elected-president/

was mentioned in the Cruz vs. Paul thread, but therun2016 follows up with this:

This was suggested in the Vogue story back in September:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=164982.msg3872928#msg3872928

that Paul's wife Kelley doesn't sound too excited about him running for president.
