Update from US News & World Report on the total number of candidate visits to Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina since Jan. 1 of last year:

http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/data-mine/2014/10/14/presidential-tracker-jim-webb-and-bernie-sanders-in-john-hickenlooper-and-deval-patrick-out

1) Perry: 59 visits
2) Paul: 41 visits
3) Jindal: 31 visits
4) Cruz: 29 visits
5) O'Malley: 26 visits
6) Sanders: 25 visits
7) Santorum: 23 visits
8 ) Christie: 20 visits
9) Huckabee: 14 visits
10) (tie) Biden: 10 visits
10) (tie) Rubio: 10 visits

I was surprised at Sanders being that high on the list, but he's been extremely active in the last two months or so.

Meanwhile, Hillary had only 1 visit, and that visit probably got more coverage than Sanders' 25 visits combined. I guess the media doesn't want the first non Christian President. I know, I know, but no more ridiculous than the sexist card that Hillary supporters always play.

Or maybe because she's polling at 60-70% whereas every other Dem is polling in the single digits or 10s.

John Kasich doesn't seem to have any intention of winning a GOP primary:

The fact that Portman so openly contemplated a presidential run and that Christie is spending freely to give Kasich an even bigger landslide than he would normally get are big signs that Kasich didn't want to run.

Sanders visited NH yet again earlier this week:

http://online.wsj.com/articles/liberals-seek-alternative-to-hillary-clinton-1414193312

He also recently met with Guy Saperstein, the Oakland A's owner mentioned in this thread:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=199925.0

as a big $ Democratic donor who wants an alternative to Clinton.

Rubio to IA next Tuesday/Wednesday for events with Grassley and Ernst. Bloomberg has a feature on his travels.

Rubio will make a decision "in the next few weeks or months."
