Michael Bloomberg @ Press Conference:

With all due respect to Speaker Gingrich, his comments made earlier this week were completely off. Our economy is still struggling, but that is at the fault of Congress, not our administration. We have been working around the clock to stop this recession and bring more jobs back to America, having introduced multiple pieces of legislation that would bring in thousands upon thousands of good-paying jobs. However, lead by fringe groups in both the Democratic and Republican caucuses, we aren't able to get these bi-partisan reforms to. If Speaker Gingrich is serious about fixing our economy, I would invite him to sit down with Republicans in Congress and urge them to accept our bi-partisan solutions.

Last year, I was elected on the promise of bi-partisan leadership, and that is exactly what I have delivered. The only experience Republicans have had as of late was bringing us into this recession - I don't see any reason why we should trust them entirely to get us out. What is best for this country is both sides sitting down together to reach bi-partisan solutions. This is what I'm proposing, and I would encourage the American people to go out on Election Day in a few months and vote for leaders who are ready to get down to business, rather than politics as usual.

If you guys are wondering where my schedules are, I'm making my Paul Ryan one right now. It's about to be up before 9PM (9 my time, 10 Spiral and Jerry's time, 11 Limune's time...) Judd Gregg might be later tonight or tomorrow.

Could I run as Jim Ryan for Governor of Illinois or Pete Hoekstra for Governor of Michigan?

You can do both if you wish.

I'll have mine up by Sunday. I'm out of town and haven't had a reliable source for WiFi.

I'm starting to think that we should simulate the midterms in a different way... I don't have many ideas as of now, but the "Presidential weekly schedule" system does not seem very efficient for this particular part of the game.

I think I'm going to fast forward to December of this year, 2010, is that ok?

Sure! I guess someday we will be able to play midterms, but let's go presidential!

Okay... That helps a lot... Paul Ryan doesn't do much other than sipping pina coladas with Sen. Scott Walker (they struck a deal). So my Judd Gregg schedule will be up by Monday.
