I've noticed a lot of folks- mostly under 35- doing this recently... I've always used "so" to lead into my final point... ending a sentence with it seems incomplete

What gives, dudes?

I've never heard of this, but I already agree with the gentleman from Florida.

Conformance to such conventions is overrated. I've no intention of ceasing to use the word "so" to conclude any of my sentences, though it is something I only choose to do on rare occasion. If it sounds sufficiently awkward it is worth avoiding. I otherwise prefer to write as I'd ideally speak.

The few times I used it there is a implied what, but I admit it is improper

-ending a sentence with it seems incomplete
-So?
-Well grammer is important here (I guess)

I use it (badly in this case but I couldn't think of a better example) when I feel like the person stated a fact with no point or interpertation that worked...

- There shouldn't be any flat taxes
- Tennessee is the least debt ridden state
- So?
- They have a 6% flat tax rate.
_ Yes but..

I use it when you're explaining something that you're particularly not excited about.

"Yeah, the old biddy is gonna be here all week next week, so...."

Typically kinda implies "goes without saying"

The only time I really do that is at work when an employee does something (or fails to do something) they obviously shouldn't be doing (or should be doing), and instead of giving the correct answer, I'll say, "Blah blah blah blah so...", and usually they get it right.

To pull this off, you have to get the grammar just so.  I think I've seen it in those videos by so-and-so.  What was his name?  Oh yeah, Naso.

So I think your response to my winning the thread is so-so.  But maybe we should lock the thread, so that we can all eat the chicken of General Tso (Huh).
