"Humiliation of the working class hits a new level" - should be the title.

Expansion of black Friday sales and their lengths does not mean the economy is recovering.  A single week's worth of sales is not indicative of economic recovery.

Now, the economy IS recovering, but this doesn't prove it.

Recovering economy or not - the standard of living for the proles is free-falling.

In fact the latter is a precondition for the former, given State policy.  Declining standard of living and increase in misery is a necessity under capitalism, and it is called 'competitiveness'.

It seems as the trend extends beyond Friday and to the entire month: link

So I think it's fair to extrapolate, that it seems all indices are showing the upwards trend gaining momentum.
