I've liked Booker since he ran against the piece of trash Sharpe James. If you haven't seen the documentary Street Fight about Booker's first run for Mayor, see it. He's a reformer/machine buster. That matters a lot to me. Aside from that, he's reasonable ideologically. That's why he'd make a really good Senator. I hope he runs in 2014.

I just want to second this. It's an incredible film.

Quinnipiac: Christie +18% over Booker.

Christie has nowhere to go but down... but he'd have to go way down. If Booker is smart, he'll stay where he is for now and let some sacrificial lamb go down in his place.

(And yeah, Street Fight was a cool film.)

PPP leaking parts of their poll. 32% of NJ voters don't know Booker.

Ouch, Christie is up 27% over Codey. I've thought for a while that Codey would wind up being the nominee -- he's wildly out of favor with North Jersey Democrats, who have been trying to push him out of the State Senate for some time. He wouldn't get totally blown out, and would do well enough to hold those seats Democrats always win for Assembly but Christie will win in his re-election campaign. Running him in a race Democrats don't think they can win puts them all in a beneficial situation all around.

PPP releasing their full poll tomorrow. This bit is fun: Christie leads State Senate President Sweeney...among Democrats. Cheesy

I was mixed on Booker until that film, and now all I have to say about him is he's a FF even though I don't agree with some/probably most of his views.
