Hagan is one lucky girl. Her opponents have shot themselves.

Hagan is asking Eric Holder to take action against the voter suppression bill. The NAACP filed a lawsuit yesterday.

NC Democrats Republicans may be getting the candidate at the top of their wishlist after all:

At home, Patrick McHenry, who is already about a partisanly R as they come, is taking heat from the right:

She's leading the pack with a commanding 18%:

PPP didn't do a matchup with just Tillis and Brannon, which would have been useful.

She has a better chance then Tillis or Berger in my opinion, but that isn't saying much. 1% is hardly better then 0%.

We need someone like Cain to get in and show some fundraising prowess, or find someone else.

Like King, I think Foxx is sufficiently self-aware about her own toxicity to stop at headline-grabbing. Cain's the only possibility. Can you call this a recruiting failure if there's no one to recruit? Tongue

McCrory is down to 40/49 in the 704 area code; he won't be carrying Mecklenburg County again at this rate.

This is the good news:

McCrory is apparently living in his own world.

Democrats need a message that resonates with voters, not just: we are not Republicans.

The Duck Dynasty guy is "too busy" with his show to run in CD5.

Speaking of Duck Dynasty, Republicans have a cutesy add out on Landrieu themed around the "Duck Hunt" Nintendo game.

Likely now, but think its closer to Lean D going down the road.

Especially given Hagan's even approvals. Though for all we know this could be a WI situation where the narrative changes by next year.

The ad would be great if it came out 15 years ago.

True, but I don't think Hagan is as...picky...as Feingold when it comes to fundraising and campaign tactics. But, yeah, a Ron Johnson figure could possibly play well.
