The 41 year old Congressman from New Mexico's 1st District and Junior Senator-Elect from New Mexico. I consider him a rising star in the Democratic Party, who for some reason hasn't been given much media spotlight or consideration.

I supported Balderas in the primary, but I'll say FF unless he turns out to be an HP.

He opposed Iraq, wants to end Afghanistan, tried to improve in the minimum wage in Albuquerque, and has always advocated for clean energy. And (should he run for president eventually), he's got a Schweitzer-style attitude on guns (which I don't like, but which could, like Schweitzer, make the passage of other progressive goals a lot easier).

He's a very strong FF, and should end up VP or president one day.

FF, of course. Him and Flake are the two freshmen I see as showing the most promise.

I would've preferred Heather Wilson, but Heinrich isn't too bad. Neutral, lean FF.

FWIW, I supported Hector Balderas in the primary. Still, FF.

If the guy decided to quit politics, he could easily go into acting.
