Thank you, Governor Wolfentoad.

Unfortunately, I'm withdrawing my candidacy for the Mideast assembly.  Life just got way too hectic and crazy recently for me to devote myself the way I was hoping to.  Thanks to everyone that helped me along the way.  It definitely meant a lot.

While it's unfortunate that Siren is compelled to withdraw her candidacy for Mideast Assembly, I thank her for having contributed to an interesting campaign. I wish Siren the best of luck in her future Atlasian endeavors.

Thank you very much, Clarence and TJ!

I'm pleased to see that LuminevonReuental has entered the race. I'm confident he will have a positive impact on the Assembly if he is elected.

He's already in the Assembly again.

That being said, I endorse him as well.

Greetings citizens of the Mideast,

I will be a candidate for Mideast Governor in next month. I have already served as Governor for a single term and I would be thrilled if I could return to the Governor's mansion in May. With Lt. Governor Clinton 1996 and Assemblymember Gass already in the race, I believe this will be a highly competitive and exciting election. I'm looking forward to the campaign!

Of course, I will continue my duties as member of the Mideast Assembly and serve out my term. Concrete policy proposals, my stances on the issues as well as my running mate will be presented throughout the campaign.

Thank you for your attention! Smiley

While Assemblyman ZuWo and I are very different on the ideological spectrum, and I will not be voting for him in this upcoming gubernatorial election, I can say with confidence that I believe if elected, he would perform admirably and with rationality as Governor. When I first joined Atlasia, ZuWo, the Governor at the time, helped integrate me into Atlasia and gave me advice on how to run an Assembly campaign which I will always be grateful for.

I wish him good luck in this campaign. Smiley

Congratulations on your run, Zuwo. It will be a tough choice between you and Clinton, but your record and personal qualities alone make you a fantastic candidate. Good luck!

Thank you, Nix, Cathcon, Inks, Clarence and Spamage. Smiley

Regardless of who ends up winning this election - I certainly hope it will be me - the Mideast will be in good hands in terms of activity and leadership.

While Lieutenant Governor Clinton1996 is definitely a promising up-and-comer (and one who could be a great Governor down the road), I am old enough to remember Assemblyman ZuWo's first term as Governor.  IIRC, it was during the late portion of Governor ZuWo's term that the Mideast begun its age of prosperity.  With that in mind, I endorse Assemblyman ZuWo for second preference.

Thank you Matt, Hagrid and Senator X!

Fortunately, the Mideast is in much better shape now than when I ran for Governor for the first time. We only used to have around 15 voters back then. How things have changed. Wink

ZuWo/Cathcon for the Mideast: Experience and Leadership

When I decided to run for Governor and became aware that I had the unique opportunity to pick a fellow Mideasterner who would be my companion on this long and exciting journey, I realized that my running mate needs to have certain crucial qualities. Above all else, I wanted to pick someone who pays close attention to what is happening in our region and who is able to step in and take over my job if necessary. Of course, my Lt. Governor candidate also has to be someone who shares my basic political views and a person I get along with very well.

While there are quite a few people in the Mideast who meet these requirements, I ultimately decided to choose a fellow Mideasterner who has been very prominent on the federal stage in recent months. I am proud to present former Assemblymember, SoEA and candidate for President Cathcon as my running mate and candidate for Lt. Governor.
