How would you feel about Maria?  Do you think she could garner enough support to be the Democratic nominee and then go on to win the presidency?  She's a strong voice in the Senate, but she has her disadvantages as well.
Necessary condition:  Hilary doesn't run.

Maybe... She'd have a little trouble in Iowa and NH but if she could survive to Super Tuesday she could at least make the ticket as VP.  She'd also need to dodge possible candidates like Kristen Gillibrand...

She's not really known outside of Washington though is she? I don't see how she benefits any ticket (except for adding confidence/experience).

Chances are a couple random senators run. However, Murray seems to be more prominent and powerful than Cantwell.
