Sadly, not even close. While this guy is undeniably an idiotic thug, the number of people who believe that most Muslims are terrorists (or at least sympathyzers), and developed strong negative opinions on Islam near exclusively from Fox News and talk radio, is depressing large (albeit probably not a majority).

While very few people sharing similar views would ever resort to violence like this terd, even then such views are widespread enough that the small minority who may be one severe 45 beer drinking binge away from such foolishness is still probably a measureable percentage of the population.

That building is across 475, on the other side of which is the church i went to during much of my youth. Bizarre to think it was attacked. After 9-11 Christians, Muslims, Jews, and other people of faith (or no faith) gathered there to pray and unite in peace. No, the stupidest person would be the guy who went on a shooting rampage in that Sikh temple earlier this year. No doubt one of the mouth-breathing zealots who conflates Islam, the Middle East, Arabs, Asia, non-Christian religions, etc, into just being brown people in turbans gathering in large numbers. He's obviously not alone in his ignorance. One who relies entirely upon one unreliable source for information does not realize how badly he is. FoX "News" and right-wing hate radio are horrible sources. It is unfortunate that he did not consult a reliable reference such as World Book Encyclopedia (written at a junior-high level of reading).

Islam-bashing is just as vile as Jew-bashing in the old days. We all now where Jew-bashing led. Mercifully our legal system has no tolerance for violence that results from religious bigotry.
