Well, Leno and I are both car enthusiasts if nothing else XD

I actually was always kinda husky ('lost about 30-40 lbs in 2011).

This was from 2009:

Wow. Good job!

You forgot the strained yogurt with honey. One of my fave desserts!

Looking good, man. Impressed with the courage to post that here. But I guess you can handle the inevitable creepfest that will follow.

Those are exactly the kind of glasses my dad has always worn. At least in my memory. You just need to grow a mustache, get a comb over (always under a baseball cap), and grow a pot belly. You'd have the dad look down solid.

Yikes. Get some sunscreen. Otherwise, you'll end up all leathery and cancerous.

I think we may need to institute a dress code for this thread.

Anyone else notice the awkward sexual tension on this thread?

BACK ON TOPIC: took a selfie at a wedding in Montreal in May. Hooray for being biracial.

Are you a Mormon missionary?

What's so unusual about dressing nicely for a wedding? Huh
Nothing wrong with it, bur I don't see young guys in a dress shirt and tie often. Especially a plain white shirt. The rolled up sleeves give the impression of short sleeves, which would be very Mormon.

Shake the haters off, Mike. It's a good pic of you. Fun fact: Shake the haters off was a reelection campaign slogan for our previous mayor. And of course, he won reelection to a fifth term.

Me on the laptop looking at you all! (probably)

Are you renting? Living rooms without carpets are just wrong.
Strongly disagree. I don't always agree with trends, but FWIW, carpet is super duper out of style right now. I'm on board in this case. It's also a pain in the R-MI to clean.

Speak for yourself.  As someone who enjoys being barefoot in the house I prefer the lush softness of carpet to the coldness of faux-wood.

memphis lives in the tropics - it never gets cold.   Here the floors are almost invariably tile or terrazzo, only in very rare occasions one might see carpet or wood in a hotel.
Currently 36 degrees, which I'm sure is a veritable heatwave for Northern Minnesota, but chilly enough for me. I'm sure people on the frozen tundra must resort to all sorts of savagry to survive. Including cannibalism and wall to wall carpeting if necessary. The trouble with tile is that it is slippery when wet, easily broken, as well as tough on other dropped breakables. I like wooden floors myself. Very practical and beautiful! Many homes have had the same wooden floors for 100 years or more.

Wow!  Here its still only like 66 for a low at night... global warming I guess.  When I first got to Thailand it was often much colder than that by end of November.
Overnight low last night was 19 here, which was certainly colder than average but not shockingly so. People are often surpised that the South in winter is moderately cold. It's not like living in Florida. The way I always explain to people is that we're about halfway between Chicago and the Gulf of Mexico. So, we get a taste of ice and snow here and there, but no blizzards. We're far from any oceans so we get a lot of variance in temperature. I would not want to live anywhere that is warm all year. I prefer cool weather. The West Coast, from San Francisco up to Vancouver has my favorite weather.
