You'd better get used to it, 'cause it's staying this way until Feb 24. Wink

Canceling the fully-planned and mostly-paid-for ARC tunnel (which would have doubled our severely bottlenecked rail capacity across the Hudson) was the very definition of penny wise, pound foolish- and given the millions of people who live on Long Island and its isolation from goods across the country, we could really use that cross-Hudson freight tunnel, too.

Yes, in fact, I would like to go out and buy more tunnel.  Because it's a necessary investment in the future.

Yay! Another person who likes trains!

What's so special about Feb 24 and Jon Stewart?

Nah, I was talking about the SEL logo. But I generally keep the quotes for longer than the rest of my sig, and the Stewart one dates back from November I think, so it's gonna stay for quite a bit.

Don't know what it is but it's very fitting for you.

It's the former Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Savak Pahlavi.

Needless to say, Horrible Signature.

I love it!  I'm sympathetic to the Royalist-opposed-to-popular-social-conservatism thing.

Ugh, pepsi. Nice smile on the girl on the left. No idea what it's supposed to be about, though.

Just one of those cool 'finds', Lewis, open to many interpretations.  But no comment on my quotes?  Too dull?

As for your Snowball, I love those little cartoon frogmen!

Evidence of a strong desire for attention, any attention, at all costs. Even if it involves defending an objectively worthless dictator.
