They deserve privacy over that issue as much as the Paul family does for having one drunken grandchild.

First and foremost, the lamestream media thing was a joke poking fun at hackery in general. Why should personal stories about the families of other politicians be (rightfully most of the time) ignored, yet other families, not the Paul's in particular (they tend to be very low key), get scrutinized unmercifully.
