Endorsed if she runs.

She'd be the first woman as well, right?

Nancy Hollister was the first female governor of Ohio, serving only 11 days between George Voinovich's resignation and Bob Taft taking office.

Cordray, Ryan (though he doesn't seem like he's going to run), and Fitzgerald would all be much better.

Oh, I hope not.  Maybe Josh Mandel or Mike DeWine would try to primary Kasich?

Replacing Kasich with DeWine would be a Big F****** Deal for democrats.

And Mandel is a worse candidate than Kasich, too (I think).

No need to replace Kasich, he's doing just fine.

I would think Kasich would be a sure loser.

Why is that? He's level-pegging all his opponents right now. Two top Dem contenders (Ryan, Strickland) aren't intereted either.

I hope Ryan runs for Governor and Sutton moves a few miles and runs for his seat (she's represented much of it in the past anyway). He's probably a stronger candidate, plus she's proven herself to be a good legislator anyway.

She looks very good for a woman who is almost 50...

She was probably pretty hot back in her day.

She does look attractive. Just for the record I am 33. She does look in her early 40's maybe late 30's.

You think he is going to come back to Ohio run for Governor? He has that nice job in the Obama Administration.

She's pretty decent for her age...of course there is a fine line between that and "hot as f***".

It looks like the party is edging Sutton to look into some of the non-Gubernatorial statewide races.

Oldies... that's the surest way to guarantee the GOP loses the seat. DeWine and Kasich hate each other and have hated each other for some time. It would rip the state GOP into two opposing camps and make sure whoever wins alienates the other's supporters.

Mandel would simply get destroyed. There was a point in the senate race last fall when he was arguing that the Asian carp problem was Obama's fault.

Kasich is by far the best chance the GOP has to hold the seat, even with Senate Bill 5. Like him or hate him, he's actually done things as governor and has some supporters in key places. Kasich will be a tough opponent for any of these Democrats.
