Obama was getting caught not buying a car park ticket and thereupon he lost all his support among the Democratic base.

After a successful primary season, the DNC nominated John Wolfe (D-TN) for President and conservative Randall Terry (D-VA) for Vice President.

What would the EV map look like?

Due to the fact that the President lost nomination, they might have a very negative effect on any Democrat's chances. So, a Republican could probably win. But I do doubt that an incident like that could have the Democrats abandon Obama, actually I doubt that a really big incident could lose his Democratic Base.

Just created a map, but lost it and don't feel like making it again. Tongue

Romney would win with around 65% of the vote and 535 Electoral Votes. Wolfe/Terry would get around 20%, and Stein would receive around 15% and pick up D.C.

No one in their right mind would vote for Wolfe/Terry. 50 state sweep for Romney.

The car park-gate would hurt Democrats across the ticket. The entire party would be branded 'Soft on Parking.'

Well, Snowstalker would vote for Wolfe. Cheesy
He seems to be quite popular in this forum, anyway:

Terry, okay, he's a bit crazy. However, his stances on abortion are very popular among conservatives and evangelicals; he could have wangled some votes off the Republicans.
Furthermore, don't disregard both candidates' origin: Both are Southerners, who would have made the whole South competitive.
