I'm not planning on leaving the forum, but do any of you know of some good conservative forums you would recommend?  I've seen a few and am trying to figure out which ones to register for.

From everything I've heard, about 95% of the online conservative forums out there are basically Leninist in their disposition and will ban you for any apostasy (in the guise of catching trolls or RINO hunting), however minor or well-thought-out.

This problem is not limited to conservative forums, mind you, but the "progressive" community tends to look more kindly on dissent and is more of a fragmented "big tent", so you don't really get the same thing on the left, at least certainly not to the same extent.

Basically, if you want intellectually honest and open conversation, I think you're stuck with us liberals here.  And not just because we're right. Tongue

But why would you want to go to one, oldiesfreak? The thing about talking politics is debate. If I wanted a one sided, insubstantial, or trite view,  I'd just watch FOX News. I'd prefer to think we're above that.

Have you tried debatepolitics.com?  It is officially neutral but it has a strong conservative and libertarian contingent from what little browsing I did there.
