WHAT IF the Donald gets the republican nomination and wins Iowa and New Hampshire but loses to Gingrich in south carolina. After this the Donald goes on a roll taking most super tuesday primaries getting the nomination. He then choses Scott Walker as his VP. How does the map look VS Barry.

I say the Donald could very well pull it of.

Candidate quality matters less and less in this polarized age.  Trump would be a poor candidate, but the safe R states would still be safely anti-Obama, and Romney wasn't a great candidate either.

With the Donald at the top, Obama takes North Carolina... and most likely nothing else changes from the actual map.

Obama might then expand the map and campaign in other states, though. Georgia, Montana, Indiana, North Dakota, Missouri, etc.

I have doubts Trump could win my state.
