It's sad to see the Kansas GOP get taken over by the Southern wannabes, especially considering that this state has been a reliable GOP fortress for so long (just like East Tennessee and rural Michigan).

Of course, the Brownback/ types would have considered Charles Curtis, Arthur Capper, Alf Landon, Frank Carlson and Bob Dole to be "RINO"s as well.

Kansas is a three party state: conservative Republicans, "moderate" Republicans and, yeah, Democrats.
