I can no longer support KEmp.  The new Constitution is nearly done, we don't need him anymore.  I cannot support his domestic agenda.  Thusly, I am hear to anounce my write in candidacy.  If anyone I see fit volunteers to be th Vice-President for my ticket, I will accept.  Politics will not be the primary consideration for my selection.

I expect no endorsments, and I do not expect to win.  I am doing this because of my recent realizations.  We crowned KEmp too early.  In that asspect, we all failed the people we are supposed to represent.  I will never make that mistake again.

Good Night and God Bless Atlasia.

I really hope you reconsider. This could swing the election to Al or Lewis.

Well, Super, good luck.  I think you have good enough reasons to do this.

I want to ask that anyone who wishes to vote Supersoulty first preference, please keep KEmp in second preference.  Thanks to preferential voting, there's not much harm in anyone running.  This is the first time I've been glad we had that stupid preferential system.

Well, thank you John and I am sorry, but this most recent supreme court decision is the final straw.  I cannot, will not stand for it.  He has the gual to produce such crap and claim that there is no political motivation behind it.

It is a blatant lie and he insults my intellegence by saying otherwise.

Is the ballot deadline expired? Will you be a write-in candidate?

Not unless you refuse to use preferential voting.

If you do, go ahead, but don't blame anyone else if you lose.

If anything, preferential voting is the reason for this problem.

Lewis needs a new campaign strategy. He's no longer the moderate choice.

I don't see how preferential voting has caused this problem.

You are acting like such a child.  Your bill gets struck down, so you won't vote for me, and you run yourself.  I'm sorry, but I am not going to pander to special interests in ANY court cases just to increase my popularity on this forum.

Well let's take a look at the recent polls. KEmperor had a good lead. If everyone had one vote and that's it, he would easily win. However, with the two left wing candidates, their support overcomes KEmperor's with the Preferential voting, KEmp is kicked out and one of the two win. Now Super jumps in and the preferencing will continue to be a problem.

his is only the last in a long line of disagreements.  I acctully came to the conclusion before this that my support for you might not last til election day.  I figured that there was no better time than now to do this.

But don't worry Kemp. you'll win, regardless of how I feel, there are enough people to push you over the top.  This is not just a bill.  This is a severe injustice that has been done.  Most people on this forum can recongnize this.  If the Contitution ha said that my law was unconstitutional, I would have been content, but it did not.  The decision that it was made was purely political.  The least you can do is admit to that fact.

At anyrate, you can say that I'm am being childish, personally, I don't really care.  As I alluded to in another post, I am only doing what makes this thing fun and exciting and jumping in now will at least lend some excitment to a ran that was essencially over a month ago and with no good cause.

I am sorry that ypu are taking this so personally, I really am.  I'll drop out if what I did is so offensive to you.

It IS unconstitutional.  Did you read the decision at all?  Any powers not specifically given to the federal government is reserved to the states, or the people.  There is no part of the Powers Amendment that gives the government the power to provide for unwed mothers.

This is not just a bill.  This is a severe injustice that has been done.  Most people on this forum can recongnize this.

Based on the comments made in the discussion of the ruling

People who agree with our ruling:
Myself
KEmperor
Bono
Peter Bell
NewFoundPolitics

People who outright disagree:
You
Al
TexasGurl

People who mostly disagree, but think the problem is with the Constitution and not the ruling, mainly vagueness of the Constitution.
Beet
Gabu
Jake
John Ford

Seems to me, based on the opinions expressed on the ruling, that most forum members do not take this as an injustice. What I think this is really about is that the bill in question was your 'baby' so to speak - you put a lot of time and work into it, and when it got shot down you got very upset. Perfectly understandable, and I don't begrudge you for it, but I feel you are acting irrationally. Personally I'm suprised you've been acting the way you have. If you wish to fight our decision, that's fine and understandable, just try to be calm and rational about it.
