Philadelphia MS was the one where those civil rights workers were killed, wasn't it?

Yes.  Precisely why I voted for Philadelphia, PA, along with cheesesteaks and Boy Meets World.  (Although I despise the Eagles.)

Huh  It's racist to not like a place where civil rights workers were killed?  That's sorta like saying it would be anti-Semitic to not like Auschwitz.

Nearer Union. Philadelphia is where the lynch mob set out from, though. Tongue

You haven't been paying much attention, have you? He doesn't like Southern Republicans either. And with good reason.

Also, Barack Obama won the 4 precincts located mostly within city limits (there are several more partly within city limits, and none entirely...) of Philadelphia MS 52-47 in 2008.

My apologies to Oldies, I read the post wrong.

I interpreted as it being he voted for Philly, PA as part of his vendetta against the South or some sort.

Again, my apologies.

Philadelphia, MS, because its quieter and offers a simpler lifestyle.

I like Philadelphia, PA and spent 5 weeks there in June-July 2007, but it has terrible sports teams.  Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers are all less than appetizing.
