Just having a little fun; it's a naval term: "Executive officer" - second in command. Smiley

I am withdrawing from the Pacific Senatorial race.

I have no intention of running for re-election to the Pacific Council, nor for Governor.

That's a retirement?
President!?!

Vacation to a very southerly island for a few weeks or months or years. Wink For now I've pretty much done what I'm going to do, and it's been 11 straight months. Wonder I'm not on blood pressure pills. Tongue

Already did President and wouldn't want to go through that torment again.

I'll accept write-in votes for Pacific Council in case we can't fill it out, but my role will just be support, help, etc.

Why not? We need an election.

I'll be a candidate for Pacific Governor next week.

I plan to start Pacific elections sometime around noon on 10 April, so we have now exceeded the 48-hour filing deadline. The ballot is set.

I also will NOT accept write-in votes for Council.

Thank you!

I'm not superstitious in the least, but I want to say, "Don't jinx me, guys." Tongue

Here's the relevant clause in the Pac Constitution:

So, within six days following a vacancy the Pac. Justice says, "In three days there will be an election."

Otherwise, the next election for Governor will commence on August 14 (second Thurs.). Elections may begin any time on that day and end 72 hrs. later.

I believe there is a special election for the N.E. Assembly seat I was appointed to, so I will run for it.

I'll run for Northeast Assembly again.

If I make it and someone else wants to be Lt. Gov., please step up.
