Unless something durastic happens (scandal, death), Christie is  likely to easily win re-election. I could see him winning by 10+ points.

Is he trying to be the GOP's Bill Clinton? (Centrist, Bi-partisan, Dem Party's response to three landslide defeats)

If he makes it through the primary and wins the first election, I think beating him for re-election would be difficult.

Christie's lied to kill the first new Hudson River rail tunnel in over a century.

The Hudson Tunnel cancellation was ages ago.  Do you have a legit source to back up your statement?

Not if he pisses off tea party types

"The what party?"
–average person in 2020.

Okay, that's an exaggeration.  But still.

If Chris Christie is successful, he will have a whole new coalition that isn't reliant on excellent Tea Party turnout.

This could be the new "balanced" map in a new 50/50 country is Christie is able to get a working coalition.

He could be the "oldiesfan"'s candidate. Someone who can win back tories and keep the Bible Belt even though he might not do well in the Sun Belt.

and if the victory is substantial -

closest states are Florida, Colorado, New Jersey (Bill could win Arkansas by large margins even though it was "solid south" by 1988)  Oregon and Connecticut.
