Despite your best efforts to kill Atlasia, some people still care. I'm not sure why you feel you must ruin everyone else's fun.

By the way, I'm currently leading in the southern legislative elections, so I'll probably need to be set up with an office soon. You'll be out of work, maybe I could hire you as my janitor?

Why don't you just scurry off to the Kool Kids Klub and leave us be? Why?

He wants to feel superior by ruining it for others.

Guys, Atlasia is over. I quit Atlasian politics a long time ago, and I don't want to be actively involved in the corpse of what was once a fun game. It's time for a new Mock Parliament. One where all of the new players get a chance to be equal to the old players in establishing a new nation.

That's fair enough as an opinion, but just like Al you don't have the power to end it. The thing that everyone needs to understand is that we have the right to keep playing it if we want, and it doesn't hurt people who choose not to.

This game is cluttering the forum at this point. We need a redo, if we are going to have a game at all. I don't have the power to end the game, but I have a right to call for its end, and I certainly will do so.
How is it cluttering up the forum? The forum is in different categories, so all Atlasia posts are in the Atlas Fantasy Elections/Government sections.

Why would we keep people from re-registering for a period of time? I guess I could see how it cuts down on the number of people quickly re- and de-registering, which I suppose would be annoying, but it's even worse, in my opinion, to lock out potentially productive people because they deregistered in the recent past.

Crazy idea: Bore could let Blair back in via some dodgy executive order, and then appoint him to one of the multiple empty cabinet positions? (Or maybe the Senate, if a dodgy executive order wouldn't work.)

To clarify blair re registered after pming me expressing interest in becoming AG. According to the constitution the AG has to be a registered voter so it's technically allowed. That said, atlasian laws only hold effect if they command the assent of the population, so could we just pretend that Blair is a registered voter now, and let him become AG? The idea that laws have to command popular assent is not even that radicaly, it's certainly implied in jury nullification.

Given that we need more people and I think Blair will certainly be a much better AG than the last maroon UK avatar that had the job, I think that's a good idea. As I already said, I'm unsure why that re-registration limit is in place to begin with.

Now, the NNP has 5 members... so you should register with the SoFE as progressive, conservative or centrist.

SWE became an independent so they just have 4, right? Clyde, Evergreen, Oakvale, and Dallasfan?

...may I ask why?

A sad day for Atlasia, nonetheless. Hope to see you back sooner rather than later!

this has to be the fourth or fifth time that i've taken an office and then disappeared. clearly i'm not responsible enough for atlasia. i'm sorry.

evergreen
de-register

Wish you could stick around for the next election at least, but nice to see you around these parts again! You were quite active as Northeast Speaker for a while there.

Sorry for your dissapearingitis, evergreen. It's a terrible condition. Got my cousin! He comes over for family reunions and next thing you know he's in some extra-dimensional universe made of lettuce. It's a damn shame, too, we were playing doubles badminton together, and POOF. We were leading, too.

Why are people suddenly asking en masse to be removed from the game? Is somebody harassing them via PM?

I don't think you're insinuating this, but on the off chance you are, it wasn't me--I didn't send campaign PMs (or PMs for any other reason than regular discussions) outside of when I announced last month and just in the past day.

Just a quick question (because I don't know where else to put it)....are there HQs for the various parties, or not?

Here is the most recent Federalist HQ thread.

And welcome to the game! Smiley
