Considering that I'm the last one registered, it's a new registration, I haven't made any political actions, and the Midwest is a political cesspool (no offense) that makes any political action near impossible, I'd like to request a premature move to the Northeast as a do-over of sorts before I make any political decisions. Vermont if it reaches that point...

By default, everybody gets one free move after they register before they're tied to a specific region for 180 days.

You do realize that I can't register you as a Labor Party member, right?

Does what I'm registered as on here really matter?

As much as I like to raise hell over matters directly pertaining to the voting booth, there's really no reason to make homely's life more difficult in this regard.

I've asked Griffin to concoct a map matching the color coding of the regions to the new constituency additions to the regions, for fancy graphical purposes and inclusion in the Wiki and the Intro thread, but anyone is of course welcome to do so themselves.

This is now available both via the GM thread and the main page of the Wiki.

Why is AtlasiaWiki giving me problems? When I go to log in, it sends me to the log in screen on the fora, and then to the forum index.

You should still be able to view the Atlasia Wiki even if you do not have editing access. Which Wiki link are are clicking? The one at the very top of the page, or the one on the forum bar ()?

Just a quick question, what is the difference between registering in a province/territory in Canada or a State in the US? I see on the Atlasia Wiki that Canada is only sort of part of Atlasia. Is there any important differences?

The limited jurisdictional authority was just recently passed via the Atlasia-Canada Common Market Agreement. There are currently some questions surrounding the constitutionality of the provisions that allow Atlasians to live in Canada, meaning that the Department of Federal Elections has not formally recognized registrations in Canadian provinces as of yet.

If you wish to be a resident of a Canadian province in the future, though (and since this is your first registration in the game), I'd recommend registering in one of the states for now and await resolution on this matter.

Is that for the Atlasia forum or the forum in general? Sorry guys, didn't catch that stipulation.

For the game, you have to have 18 posts and have an account on the forum for one week. Such a requirement for the forum at-large would disqualify anyone from joining. Tongue

Please use the Federally recognized names of the Midwestern states in this thread. You're more than welcome to use the other names in your Region's business and correspondence - I merely ask that you not use them here.

I am afraid I will have to invoke the full wrath of Midwestern law upon you when our criminal statutes are updated.

You're more than welcome to convict me, imprison me, execute me, etc. in absentia, but unless your regional government can somehow find a way to expand its jurisdiction to Connecticut, where I reside, I would encourage you not to waste your own time.

FYI: Under the CARCA map, MN & CT would both be in the same region. Wink

You do know that you aren't eligible to vote this weekend, don't you?

That said, welcome back.   Smiley

May I say that I am very glad to be back, Comrades. Smiley

Welcome back! Glorious news, indeed. I only wish you had returned in time to vote in the presidential. Tongue

Ah well, at least this way we can't be accused of vote rigging! Wink
