Senator you of course have 24 hours as per my sponsor rule.

If I am not mistaken this the bill that the GOR formulated at the very end of the last session.

I would advise all Senators, the cabinet members in question (those occupied that is) and the Regional Executives to review and provide feedback as well on any concerns present since it will be affecting all of you.

I don't think it hurts to add these clauses into the amendment, and I'd personally rather have them in than not. I don't think they should be too controversial, so I might as well get them over with now...

An Amendment:

As SoIA, I strongly support these reforms.

However, I have one question.
6. The Office of Internal Affairs shall be allotted funding in each federal budget. The Secretary of Internal Affairs shall have sole authority over these funds.

What would the purpose of these funds be, and how would they be used? Is this meant just to cover basic administrative costs, or something more? (My question goes for the SoEA as well)

The idea, which was added at the suggestion of your predecessor, is to give the SoIA the ability to rapidly respond to disasters and regional requests for federal aid in the event of an emergency, e.g. in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

I like that idea. I support this.
