Obviously Lauren Faust. Not that it's hard to be better than those two, but Faust is great by any standard. Also based on her Twitter she is a solid progressive (said she was proud of her home state of Maryland after they legalized gay marriage) as opposed the horrendous politics of those two imbeciles.

Neither of them are actually animators.

However, clearly Faust, as SP's animation is intentionally crude.

Probably Stone or Parker.  I'm more partial to Disney's Nine Old Men, Don Bluth, Shamus Culhane, Walt Disney, Chuck Jones, Hanna-Barbera, and Rob Renzetti (for obvious reasons.)
