All you need is olive oil, dijon mustard and champagne vinegar. And boom, you have a vinaigrette!

Lemon and lime juice makes for a good dressing. Also, if I make a salad with grilled chicken, you can blend some strawberries to make a good dressing.

Ranch is good when you're trashed and want something horrible. I read, and maybe it was wrong but whatever, that low fat mayo and salad dressings are actually worse for you than the full fat types because they contain so many additives, sodiums and sugars to make up for the decreased fat content. That's why I stay away from low fat mayo and peanut butter.

Speaking of, BushOK, do you like peanut butter? It's not a bad snack if you learn to eat the "natural" type, not the type with hydrogenated oils and sugar. Check the ingredients. If it says "peanuts, salt," you're good to go!

Most of them are worse for you. It's why I've eliminated them from my life. It's why I will only use mustard (if I want a condiment) on a sandwich, and my salads are usually the lemon or lime juice.

I've really tried to take the right steps to get myself together. Instead of switching from regular soda to diet, I just cut it out and switched to just water. I've cut sausage out and replaced it turkey sausage. I haven't done anything with beer and booze, but do you really expect me to?

If you really want to do something for your health, you'll just do it, and not take baby steps. It's like quitting smoking. I said I was going to quit at the "end of this pack" for 3 years. One day when I was sick, I threw away a nearly full pack, and never looked back. It's either you do it, or not. There is no in the middle.

Also, I went greek Wink

You need to be careful giving your card numbers to porn sites. Most of them are as unprotected as raw dog sex with a prostitute.

Oddly enough, it was a porn site, but I don't remember ever signing up for that particular site.  I have no idea how they got a hold of it, but to avoid this coming out in March, I am going to shut down my entire bank account and reopen it tomorrow after work.

All porn sites sleep together like all strippers grind their cooter on any man's cock that slips them a dollar bill. In short, if you give your card number to one site, you may as well send it to all of them.

Why do you keep talking about us?

Water with lemon is excellent. I recommend it.

I have a britta, and what I do sometimes is slice lemons or lime, maybe a cucumber, and place it in the filtered side, than fill with water.  That way when I go to have some water, it's naturally flavored.

If I have a drifter come before me wanting to build houses and I come to find he's held five jobs in the past year- that makes me suspicious of his reliability

Heck nowadays all the people who know how to build houses are not only unemployed but probably living under a bridge.

Most home builders nowadays make a lot of money.

How is that possible - there are no houses being built.

They most certainly are. I know people doing it in Connecticut, New York, Virginia and here in Texas. They are still making money.

So, I didn't read all of this.. but I'm just going to assume that Bushie was laid off, his parents were tired of supporting him and paying his bills, and nobody will clean his pleasure palace.

Actually, you are wrong on all three.  Tomorrow, I am going to attempt to put in my two weeks notice at Xerox.  If I am allowed to work two weeks, then I will be leaving on Tuesday, March 5.  If I am not allowed to work two weeks, then I will leave on Tuesday, February 26.

Who cleaned the pleasure palace?

On the other hand, his parents encourage his awful choices as well, so...

His friends are even worse.

I cringe on his when I see the posts on FB. If only they knew..

You're taking a "detour" that increases your travel time by 70% JUST to avoid snow? And now your new route has snow anyway? You know, the interstates are pretty much always salted well in advance, especially in states more accustomed to large amounts of snowfall. I don't know too much about AZ's climate but I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually easier for you to go through WY than AZ.

Of course, this is BushOK though and there's always a subtext. Anyone wanna bet he has some elaborate excuse for visiting a casino when he's just "passing through" Vegas and ends up spending away all the gas money his parents gave him?

edit- then he would get stuck there and poor Joe might actually have to put up with him Sad

Yeah, unless there's an actual snowstorm (of course knowing Bushie he probably would consider this a big snowstorm, the Interstates are completely clear. I should know this better than anyone. Of course Bushie might be aware too and the rest of your explanation is correct.

You and everyone else who lives up north, and in New England

Word is, the President is a Thunder fan!!

Politicians are usually fans of what ever cities they're in/interviewing for.

This is true. And we demand pictures of the pleasure palace

I firmly believe that, and plus it wouldn't make sense for him to be a Thunder fan since he is from Chicago.

You'll never get a raise if you can't hold a job for 6 months. Why can't you understand that your resume is a mess? And with every new job, it gets worse.
Exactly...

This is what I've tried to tell you... You are acting very foolish by expecting a promotion almost immediately after starting at a company, particularly when that company has good reason to believe you'll be gone in a few months- which they gather by looking at your resume! Why would a company promote some one and invest in that person if their history shows them to lack loyalty to any prior place of employment?

I wasn't asking for a promotion.  I was just asking if there was a raise when I got on permanent.  His reply was no, and there were no raises unless I got a promotion.  I wasn't asking for one.

But didn't you tell us last season that they were going to put you on permanent, and put you on a fast track for promotion?

Anyway, lets change the subject.  Enough of the attacks.  I will be fine.  I've been fine for many years.  My life is not screwed up like has been previously mentioned.  .

You left your job, because some teens thought it would be fun to do naughty things in your pleasure palace shed... so you are going to drive past your house to make sure its okay. You're not fine. You haven't been fine for many years. When are you going to realize this and get help? Just tell us that your parents were paying your bills in Utah, and they couldn't afford it anymore. Your "attacks" would stop if you stoped lying. And if you're telling us the truth that this is the reason, than you really need to stop falling back on your parents and seek help.

You'll never get a raise if you can't hold a job for 6 months. Why can't you understand that your resume is a mess? And with every new job, it gets worse.

Stop trying to get him on small technicalities.

The problem is, BushOK thinks he is entitled to some high paying, high skilled job, and does not want to put in the work to get back to the type of job he had at ONG. The more jobs he quits, the further and further he gets from ever achieving that goal.

I thought the job at the natural gas company was a bottom level office clerk job.

As for Grumps Walmart idea - I think it is definitely better to do nothing than to go to Walmart.  We don't want a suicide on our hands.

Gotta start somewhere.  I've worked my ass off the past 18 months to get where I am at this job. I didn't ask for raises or anything. With hard work, comes rewards.

Really?  What rewards?

I think had he just stayed it would have been enough, no?

Job security, raises, promotions. That's what I've been doing, and been getting.

This would be a great time for a picture of a large woman... but it being Sunday morning, I'll refrain

No occasion is a great time to post those pictures, unless you start your own thread and put them in it.

So, all of Bushie's family works for the goverfnment, either directly or indirectly? There's the key difference. Hope the sequester doesn't make them all homeless. If so, maybe they're know what "smaller government" means for them in the future.

I'm more concerned about my brother being still in Active Duty Navy.  He only has 16 months until retirement, but we're concerned that the sequester and coming military cuts will force him out of the Navy prematurely and thus cost him his retirement and get nothing in return for nearly 20 years of service.  I don't think Congress would be that cruel, but you never know, they care more about themselves than our military.

They're going to toss out the newbies and maybe limit new service members.  He's fine.

That's what I believe will happen, but Congress can be unpredictable and cold-hearted, at times, so there's always a little concern.

Thanks, Obama!

Thanks, memphis!
