HP as an industrialist (he seriously wanted to run the lives of his workers and had to be threatened by FDR to recognize the UAW) and as a human being (for his anti-semitism, support for eugenics, business deals with Nazi Germany, etc.)

He was a goddamn Nazi, I don't care if he invented the goddamn assembly line.

Go ahead and imagine your life without a car. I dare you.

It's not like no one else would have ever invented them.

But he did. Now they should stop being ungrateful.

Ford didn't invent the car, he simply rationalized it's production. The first cars were around in the 1880s, IIRC.

I prefer to idolize John D. Rockefeller.

I'm more of a J. P. Morgan man myself.

I'm more of a Samuel Gompers fan, if we're talking about important people from that time period.
