Yes. They blocked the inclusion of victims of domestic abuse in same-sex relationships and not immediately deporting domestic abuse victims who happen to be illegal immigrants last month in the first reauthorization attempt.

Tim Scott is already starting to live up to the legacy of Jim DeMint.

Mike Lee tries so hard to be relevant, but in the end, he's just another one of these eight idiots.

Eight Senators on Monday voted not to consider the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, a bill that protects victims of domestic violence. The Senators who voted against moving to debate on the bill were: Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT), Tim Scott (R-SC), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Mike Johanns (R-NE), Rand Paul (R-KY), Pat Roberts (R-KS), and James Risch (R-ID).

A real life confederacy of dunces.

Rand Paul is a disgrace.

It's a shame we have a senator who supports wife-beaters.

Rand Paul is a vile piece of human garbage. I can't wait to vote for his opponent in 2016.

Rubio just lost the women's vote should he be the Republican nominee for President in 2016. He may also have thrown away his Senate seat. Florida is a moderate state.

The negative ads for 2016 practically write themselves.

I don't see Rubio getting re-elected anyhow. He won with only a plurality in 2010.

Everybody thinks Rubio is more politically viable than he really is, because The Media just loves, loves, loves him.

A 49% plurality, but fair enough. Unless he either does something absolutely awful. If the Dems run someone like Crist, Sink, Dyer, Iorio, or Buckhorn (or maybe, just maybe, Rod Smith) it could be competitive, but I have absolutely no faith in the FDP to do anything correctly.

He voted against a bad bill. Props to him.

It'd be nice if the proponents of the legislation actually knew what it did.
