I don't want a President Sanders in the White House, I just thought it'd be cool to see him run Tongue.

Sanders has certainly become a more polarizing figure on Atlas than I ever would have imagined.

Yup, a lot of Hillary people had no problem with him until their candidate made him out to be the devil.

I have one: Abraham Lincoln. I know he will never run because he's dead.

Sanders has certainly become a more polarizing figure on Atlas than I ever would have imagined.

Actually, I remember Clinton's Internet supporters attacking Sanders long before Clinton herself did.

Al Gore, Martin O'Malley for a second go-around, and Joe Kennedy III (for nothing else if pure interest in a second Kennedy presidency)

I think the last two are definite possibilities for the future.

Thank heavens I didn't post. Sanders probably would've been included right after Feingold and Gillibrand (I had hope Schweitzer and Biden would run)

Maybe I shouldn't say never, but I'm fairly pessimistic about the liberty Republicans after what happened to Rand Paul, plus he's a house member in Michigan, so it would be hard for him to rise to a Senator/Governor with how conservative he is. But then again, he could be Ron Paul 2.0, just build up credibility and following over the years and try to gain a high profile by being a massive maverick, then run for president down the line in the 2020's or 2030's. I hope that I'm wrong, I mean, I wrote a timeline about it, but I just don't see it happening, and if he does I worry it'll be like Rand's.

I share those same worries. Who knows what the Republican Party will be like in 15-20 years though, Amash could have a chance.

I think he would give it a shot eventually, were it not for the fact that he's a dead man walking. He's going to be obliterated by Tammy Duckworth.

Things like this don't help:

Seeing as how you guys decided to bump this thread and reinterpret it as applying to 2020 and beyond, I've moved it to Trends.  Smiley
