That is the extent of the section on the KKK (I'm using Fenton here because he hasn't done anything else as far as I know).

how?   a concealed results primary wouldn't keep the opposition from supporting an unacceptable nominee.

I've found that the opposition tends to go for moderate to progressive nominees if they don't see the results. If they do they rally around the most popular wacko they can find and push him up.
