There's supposed to be one on Friday. This will be the first major snowstorm for us since the freak October snowstorm in 2011.

Looks like Boston will probably get hit worse than NYC (although there seems to be an awful lot of uncertainty with this storm).

Looks like it's going to skip right over me. Thank goodness.

Stay safe, everyone.

I wish we would get a blizzard, like 20 inches of snow. You would think we would get more snow here in Michigan but we don't. We are suppose to get 2-5 inches Thursday into Friday.

lol, blizzard.

No, it's just a small snowstorm, which is usual for people from Canada or the Upper Midwest (hi, Minnesota!).

In years favorable for Alberta Clippers, it's rare to see those big 20" snowstorms for the Great Lakes.

Two feet of snow is a "small snowstorm"? Okay.

I love that Californians seem to think snow is like little tiny cotton balls falling from the sky that float away in the night and are forgotten beyond their picturesque arrival and dominance of weather reporting.

Jesus, I don't think it's even gonna snow in Philly let alone accumulate 17 inches of it...

Incidentally, tomorrow is the fortieth anniversary of the Blizzard of '73 which brought 1 to 2 feet of snow to South Carolina.  We had even less snow removal equipment then than we do now, so the state was absolutely paralyzed for about a week.

The storm is even worse south of the border; but still, unless Montreal got out of it yet again, this is not just a 'small snowstorm'. 25-30cm fell/are falling in Ottawa, which makes this a pretty big ass snowstorm even for local standards. Blizzard might be a bit radical, because this is not some storm-of-the-century occurrence for Ottawa, there was a similar big ass storm around Christmas in Ottawa.

You know, I was thinking that as I typed it. Still stands, it was a ridiculous statement Grin
